The client approached us with a dual purpose in mind: to create a premium short-term rental that could also feel like a personal retreat during visits to Abu Dhabi. Their vision was rooted in a love for warm tones, luxurious textures, and subtle nods to Hermès. The goal was to shape a space that felt both refined and deeply personal.
We started from scratch, focusing on clean-lined furniture in rich materials. Woven leathers, caramel hues, and tactile finishes set the tone for a palette that felt soft yet sophisticated. Attention to detail was key, stitching, piping, and elegant leg profiles all worked quietly to complete the design.
The apartment's natural surroundings played a guiding role in the design. With sweeping views of the sea framed by the unit’s architecture, we introduced macro nature photography by Caroly Labarge as a gentle focal point. These artworks echo the serenity of the setting and draw the outside in.
To balance the softness of the space, we added a bold, orange-toned artwork that brings a sense of movement and warmth. It anchors the room with energy, complementing the muted tones around it and adding just the right amount of contrast.
This home is a quiet sanctuary overlooking the water - one that feels luxurious, grounded, and unmistakably theirs.
