I’m Sandra, the founder of INHABITAT.

I’m a qualified interior architect and an artist (I make paintings). If you’re into fancy degrees, I have a BSc in Architecture (from Bath University) and a Masters in Interior Design (from Pratt, New York). But fancy degrees aside, I learnt the most from practice. I’ve been doing this for over 17 years - working for some pretty kickass names in the design world internationally - from New York to Dubai, Bristol to Amman, and Florence to Toronto.

If I had to put myself in a box I would select “solopreneur” but in reality, I work with a network of talented people to create cosy homes and rentals - which is why I flip between ‘I’ and ‘we’.

This is the place for you if you want to create your dream home.

Inhabitat is a homegrown, registered business in Dubai, and your place to create... your place. Sorry, I like word-play :)

For real. I had a Client who was very particular about wanting to recreate the sleeping experience of the Mandarin Oriental. I knew which linens were used at The Royal Atlantis but he was insistent on The Mandarin. After a bunch of phone calls that led to nowhere I visited the hotel and together with a super helpful receptionist, found out the supplier of the linens, visited a suite to see the configuration of the bed - and then recreated that for my Client.

I listen and absorb… you. I get what you want, what’s really important to you, and make it happen. I take care of stuff strategically without creating drama for you.
